As Senior Accountant/Contracts Administrator in the Sacramento region, Christie Balbach helps guide financial decisions and protect assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems. Christie is responsible for implementation and monitoring, as well as the enforcement of policies and procedures to maximize returns on financial assets. She monitors TTLC budget objectives, provides status on financial conditions and ensures the company meets existing and incoming federal, state and local legal requirements. She is an integral part of the team and facilitates related efforts to achieve company goals.
Christie has over 25 years of experience, including oversight of accounts payable/receivable, general accounting, estimating, Human Resources, contract processing, project management, and payroll, among others. Christie began her career as Office Manager at ACM Machining, Inc., managing a team of accountants, with responsibility for training and oversight for the hiring of account clerks. She also managed Human Resources and handled employee insurance. Most recently, Christie was the Controller at DEK Enterprise, LLC, a general contractor firm. In this role, she built the company accounting system and internal infrastructure from scratch. She created all protocols and templates for Estimates, Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Invoices and other various reports across multiple software applications.
When she is not hard at work, Christie enjoys spending time with friends and with her three beautiful daughters.
