Michael Torres brings a diversified background in real estate to TTLC, supporting both the local and corporate offices.  His invaluable experience extends to commercial real estate, land development, site selection, market analysis, site acquisition, contract negotiations, entitlements and construction management.  A good understanding of local jurisdictions and community relations enable Michael to ensure the success of projects through in-depth market research, financial and regulatory information gathering and timeline analysis.

Prior to joining TTLC, Michael served as Senior Vice President, Site Acquisitions for SRE Company, Inc. in Los Gatos, CA.  He was responsible for site acquisition in the San Francisco Bay Area, finding off-market opportunities, negotiating deal terms and managing the acquisitions through close of escrow.  Previously, he was a commercial real estate broker handling multi-million dollar deals for over 11 years at Transwestern Commercial Real Estate in Walnut Creek, Cassidy Turley Commercial Real Estate in Walnut Creek and CBRE Commercial Real Estate in Stockton. His experience includes construction management at the firms of Opus West Corporation and KHS&S Contractors.

Michael studied construction management at the University of California, Berkeley and holds a California Real Estate license.  An avid outdoorsman, you can find him spending time with family, backpacking, enjoying the beach, skiing, golfing, traveling and competing in Triathlons.
