As our Managing Director in Austin, Texas John Lohr identifies and evaluates new land opportunities in the greater Austin area while handling the due diligence process to successfully onboard future properties.  In addition to land acquisition, his responsibilities also include the management, coordination and supervision over the entitlements required for a successful sale and subsequent disposition of properties to eventual home builders.  John’s experience and knowledge of full cycle property acquisition make him an excellent fit that will expand our company footprint in this new market. 

John has over 20 years of experience in the homebuilding and property acquisition industry gained from established homebuilders like DR Horton, Standard Pacific Homes, Meritage Homes and most recently, Lennar Homes.  As Vice President of Land Acquisition, John acquired over $300 Million in less than 6 years totaling 15,000 lots. 

He earned his Business Administration degree from Chapman University and holds a certificate in Light Construction and Management from University of California, Irvine.  In his free time John enjoys sailing, soccer, hiking and skiing.
