Bill Hoffenberg has been instrumental in Homes Built For America's current success, working as an advisor and consultant and has been on the HBFA Board of Directors from its beginning. Now as Chief Financial Officer for Homes Built For America, Bill continues to build value for stakeholders while improving profitability for the company.

Bill has a wealth of experience in residential and commercial Real Estate finance, development, construction, home building and working with company investors. He has held the role of Chief Financial Officer at a variety of real estate firms throughout most of his career, as well as that of Chief Operating Officer. He served as Chief Financial Officer for 11 years at Koll Company until 2004 and followed by 9 years at Sunroad Enterprises, with his most recent role as CFO/COO at Adler Industrial, where he worked with affiliated realty investment and GC businesses.

Mr. Hoffenberg’s additional responsibilities have included managing relationships with Wall Street funds and investment banks, negotiating debt, and managing human resources information systems. Mr. Hoffenberg brings a wealth of experience and business acumen and will be critical as we roll out our expanding HBFA and True Life business plan, helping us to identify and partner with equity and debt capital sources.

Bill has an extensive educational background as a graduate of Stanford University and Harvard Business School where he earned his Masters in Business Administration. Bill is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and even speaks a little French. He is married with 3 kids and enjoys tennis, soccer, and other fun activities.
