Jen Welker has a wealth of experience in the accounting field, and has held roles from Accountant to Accounting Manager over her 27-year career. As Controller with The True Life Companies, Jen is responsible for all accounting within our corporate, management and fund companies. She also maintains oversight of Property Accounting and the Company's financial statements. Jen has accumulated a strong skill-set across a range of industries such as technology, construction, title and others. She also owned and managed a small business, supervising employees, managing the accounting and purchasing, and conducting the marketing. As Controller, Jen brings her expertise and strong skill set to complement the team, providing a well-based foundation for the Accounting team to provide necessary support for all aspects of the work at TTLC.

Prior to joining The True Life Companies, Jen served as Project Controller for a construction firm specializing in utilities. She has been responsible for AP/AR functions, credit card and bank reconciliations, business taxes, payroll and payroll taxes, job costing, full cycle bookkeeping, cash flow forecasting and GL analysis, among others.

Her educational background includes a BA and an MBA in Accounting from the University of Phoenix. Jen has lived in Colorado throughout her career. She loves spending time with her three children, riding bikes, enjoying sport activities, and skating at Skate City.  Although most of her time is spent with her children, Jen does enjoy downtime with a good fictional read.
