As Chief Financial Officer for The True Life Companies, Joe Marsh is responsible for all finance and accounting functions within the company. This includes financial planning and analysis, accounting, tax and audit functions, and partner relations reporting. With an extensive record of experience building solid companies, strong finance and accounting teams, and developing systems and processes, Joe is ideally suited to lead the accounting and finance teams at The True Life Companies.
Recently, as CFO for Pronghorn Logistics, Joe contributed to the creation and delivery of a high revenue and performing business, growing the company into several states before its purchase by a more than $1B NYSE public company. Prior to that, Joe served as Vice President at RockPile Energy Services, for several years, contributing to the growth of the company from start-up to a highly successful operating business through numerous capital raises and strategic transactions. Joe was a key participant in strategic planning, management, and also operations for the company, building a 12 rig division that he also managed. He maintained oversight of financial planning, analysis, KPIs, modeling, financing, and M&A, among others. After helping to guide the business through hypergrowth, an industry downturn, additional capital raises, and subsequent growth, the company was purchased by a multi-billion dollar NYSE Company, Keane Group, in 2017.
Joe has also held roles in investment banking at Houlihan Lokey and in private equity at Harren Equity Partners. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree with a double concentration in Finance and Accounting from The McIntire School of Commerce at The University of Virginia. Joe lives in Denver with his wife Amanda where they enjoy the outdoors in their personal time.
