Mark Foster began his career in project development fourteen years ago as a financial analyst for hotels and commercial land development projects. His well-rounded background includes lending, acquisitions and asset management, financial analysis, site identification and acquisition, underwriting, land development and permitting, and contract negotiation. Much of his background is steeped in real estate investment analysis and real estate project development, with keen insight on project feasibility.
Among his most recent positions, Mark served as Vice President of Real Estate at Under Canvas a luxury resort camping company. Prior to that he held the role of Development Manager at Topgolf, where he was responsible for managing the entitlements and development of 10 to 12 sites per year in major markets across the U.S., totaling approximately $600 million in development. Mark also served as Development Land Acquisition Manager at Forum Real Estate Group, a private equity group focused on multi-family, where he managed site acquisition for developments in Denver, Portland, MInneapolis and Austin.
Mark holds an MBA with a focus in Corporate/Strategic Finance from the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business. He also earned a Masters degree in Real Estate Finance and Construction Management from the University of Denver, Burns School of Real Estate and Construction Management. Mark holds a Real Estate Brokers License and is pursuing a Series 79 license. He is an active member of Casting4ACure: Rhettssyndrome.org and Big Brother. In his spare time he enjoys the Colorado Rockies whether taking advantage of the rivers to fly-fish or visiting the mountains in winter to ski.
