SAN ANTONIO, TX (May 23, 2023) – The True Life Companies (TTLC) has announced its plans for Wright Ranch, the firm’s recently acquired site located in the city of San Antonio. The 136-acre community, currently in planning, will feature approximately 700 single-family residences, each set on comfortable lots up to 50 feet wide.
“Wright Ranch is the start of something very exciting in San Antonio,” said Scott Clark, Chairman and CEO of The True Life Companies. “This development will bring a series of new neighborhoods to the community, providing sorely needed single-family housing in this thriving region.” As of 2023, the city was ranked among the country’s fastest-growing areas. Healthcare, IT, aerospace, and green technologies are among the industries contributing to San Antonio’s noteworthy economic development.
“Wright Ranch will offer that hard-to-find combination of attainable housing, all the perks of a new home, and easy proximity to major employers, shopping, and schools,” said John Lohr, Managing Director for TTLC’s Austin offices. Toyota, Navistar, Texas A&M University-San Antonio and Brooks City Base are among the many employment centers in the area – and construction for a new regional hospital is underway.
The site also provides access to downtown San Antonio and the Historic San Antonio Riverwalk, both about a 20-minute drive from Wright Ranch. The San Antonio River Trail and historic missions are just a ten-minute drive. Highway 281, Loop 410, Loop 1604 and Interstate 37 are all within reach, offering easy commuter access to countless destinations in and around San Antonio and beyond.
“There’s no doubt that San Antonio is on the rise – it’s a popular city with so much to offer,” said Lohr. “It boasts a strong economy; GDP for the region is up 1.4% this year, and some experts expect the local economy to outperform most cities in 2023. This, combined with its affordable cost of living, indicates that San Antonio’s outlook is bright. Wright Ranch is in planning at a perfect time in the city’s growth trajectory. We’re excited to play a role in San Antonio’s future by bringing the city a great place for people to live.”
