Currently in the early planning stages, Generations at Green Valley is anticipated to be on the market in 2020. The proposed community spans 280 acres and is planned for approximately 430 future home sites. Intended to offer 3 distinct neighborhoods, all will be designed and certified to the highest standard for “Universal Design”. Aging in place for multi-generational living is at the heart of this community, which provides a collection of single-family homes, an active adult neighborhood, and a collection of estate home sites that will help form an expansive buffer around the perimeter. We call this Living for Grand Parents, Parents and Grandchildren or “GPG”.
Outdoor features are planned to include meandering trails for walking and riding, a community garden, public and private parks, as well as a sports field and courts for basketball, pickle ball, bocce ball, soccer and softball. A community clubhouse will invite a range of activities including barbecues and game nights, and will include a business center and fitness facilities. The plan will incorporate shuttle services to city centers and health service centers, retail and dining establishments, and a Dial-A-Ride service for seniors.
This new community will serve El Dorado County’s increasing need for housing while complementing its wonderful quality of life.
