Rob Flitton is an accomplished professional with over 25 years of experience in real estate development. His background covers the full range of disciplines within the development sector, from site selection and acquisition, through due diligence and entitlements, finance, construction and sales. He has been employed in nearly all industry sectors including residential, commercial, retail and mixed use. Over the course of his career he has completed the acquisition of more than 12,000 housing units and directly managed the development of over 7,500 housing units in four markets, including three master-planned communities.
Recently, Rob served as Development Director with Holland Partner Group, one of the largest privately held multi-family development companies in the Western U.S., where he was responsible for acquisitions, underwriting, financial analysis, due diligence and development management in the Southern California market. Prior to that, as Director of Acquisitions for Pulte Group, Rob was responsible for strategic acquisitions to support the corporate business plan and rebuild their depleted construction pipeline in the Seattle region.
Rob has also served in senior level positions at privately held companies Premier Communities and ParkLane Homes. While with Premier Communities he managed one of the largest land development companies in Greater Seattle, where he was responsible for all acquisitions, entitlements and site construction. Earlier, with ParkLane Homes, a Canadian homebuilder, he opened the U.S. market for this company through the launch of a Seattle division, from the ground up. This highly successful venture led to the development of several thousand homes, commercial properties and two office buildings.
Rob studied in the Urban Land Economics program at the Sauder School of Business, University of British Columbia. A native of Canada, he fulfilled a lifelong dream to become an American citizen and settle in Southern California. Rob lives in Newport Beach, California. His son is a veteran of the US Air Force and now serves the US military as a civilian, and his daughter is a burgeoning actress. Rob is a non-fiction writer on business strategy and negotiations.
