Joe Ware is adept in critical financial analysis and the development of financial assurance controls, comprehensive reporting, and system tracking mechanisms specific to business drivers and account oversight. In his role as Financial Analyst, Joe offers support to all teams throughout TTLC, providing information analyses and preparing operational/data analyses that can contribute to informed business decisions at all levels of the organization.
Having spent ten years of active duty in the U.S. Air Force and ten years with the Colorado Air National Guard, Joe brings a disciplined approach to his role at The True Life Companies. In the military he supported the security of the nation by ensuring that F-16 fighters were able to successfully deploy. He also monitored equipment maintenance, inventory levels and ordering, conducted personnel training and information security, and managed small teams.
Upon retiring from service, Joe launched his new career direction in business and economics, obtaining his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Colorado, Denver (UCD), and then securing a Masters’ degree in Business Administration at UCD. He recently held positions as a Financial Project Analyst with ZAP Engineering, and Financial Assurance Analyst at C4 Technical Services (Century Link).
At ZAP Engineering Joe was responsible for the financial management of 8 projects with over $172 million in value. He created profitability reports for senior executives, assisted managers in budget set up, monitoring budgets and the preparation of weekly field projections. While at C4 Technical Services Joe performed customer audits to identify revenue recovery and cost saving opportunities. He conducted variance reporting, root cause identification and error resolution, and designed and implemented financial assurance controls including source data acquisition, normalization and automation.
Joe lives in Broomfield, Colorado with his 11-year-old son. Joe likes to spend his time painting and playing piano. Joe is also a black belt in the martial art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as well as an orange belt in Judo. Joe’s son plays the drums and competes in Jiu Jitsu tournaments. Their plan is to start a rock/Jazz fusion band when his son is old enough to get into the nightclubs.
