DENVER, CO (June 8, 2023) The True Life Companies’ Chairman and CEO, Scott Clark, has joined the ACE Scholarships Colorado Board of Trustees, the premier Board responsible for Advocacy and Funds for ACE Scholarships. A nationwide association operating in 12 states including Colorado, ACE Scholarships’ mission is to provide children of lower-income families with scholarships to private schools in grades K-12. The organization’s overarching goal is to give every child equal access to a quality education. Clark, who served earlier terms for the ACE Scholarships Colorado Board of Advisors, will work alongside Denver’s most prominent business leaders to directly support 1,800 children with ACE Scholarships in the Colorado region.

“Mr. Clark’s commitment to helping create better schooling opportunities for lower-income families – evident during his prior tenure with our Colorado Board of Advisors – makes him a natural fit for this important role,” said Norton Rainey, CEO for ACE Scholarships. “He continues to stand out as an advocate for education, making him a stellar addition to our Board.”

Over 3,300 children in Colorado are attending a better school on an ACE Scholarship, and of these students, 1,800 are directly supported by the Board of Trustees. Everyone has skin in the game. Participating schools, ACE donors, and parents fund the cost of a student’s seat. Recent statistics demonstrate a 100% graduation rate from high school in 2022, in contrast to the 71% reported from their lower-income peers.

“I am honored to accept this important role and work alongside my Denver colleagues who share one common goal: to give kids more opportunity by advocating for enhanced learning,” said Clark. “Speaking on behalf of our company, TTLC is aligned with ACE on many levels, starting with our values. ACE is founded on the principle that education is the key to getting out of poverty; we believe education is the great equalizer.”
