As the Director of Land Acquisition for Colorado, Troy is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and pre-qualifying deal flow opportunities, underwriting candidate acquisitions, organizing and managing due diligence processes, and successfully acquiring land investments for the company. He also plays a key role in developing and maintaining a network of land acquisition opportunity sources while overseeing all aspects of preliminary investment research and physical due diligence. 

Previously, as the Land Acquisition Manager at Forestar Group Inc., he successfully planned, directed, and coordinated all land acquisition activities. His responsibilities included identifying and qualifying potential land acquisitions aligned with division goals and managing the due diligence process on land acquisition opportunities, including initial master planning work in coordination with internal design and land development teams.

Prior to that, Troy served as an Analyst-Commercial Acquisitions at Real Capital Solutions. In this role, he assisted in the acquisition and asset management of commercial properties, with a secondary emphasis on development. Troy's skills included reviewing and extracting information from broker marketing books and third-party research, analyzing new acquisition opportunities, and preparing financial analyses on the viability of each transaction.

In his spare time, Troy enjoys playing golf in the summer and snowboarding and skiing in the winter.
